Since January 2003 Dr. Dannenmann is the CENAT coordinator. Her main duties are to foster the relationship between different universities and agencies within Switzerland, coordinate CENAT projects and support the activities of the CENAT president.

Dr. Dannenmann received her PhD with focus on paleoclimatology at SUNY Earth and Atmospheric Science Department in Albany, New York. Afterwards she worked as a catastrophe perils specialist at the Swiss Reinsurance's Chief Underwriting Office in Armonk, New York. She has considerable experience in multi-national hazard and risk assessments.
