Activities in the Field of Natural Hazards

Being director of SLF and the natural hazards research department at WSL, and Chairman of the CENAT Natural Hazards Competence Center committee, gives Dr. Ammann special experience in guiding research and coordinating finances and people from many countries.  Dr. Ammann is a civil engineer with over 30 years experience in research, consulting firms and in industries, and specializes in Integrated Risk Management and its applications to all kinds of natural hazards.
